About Galen Center
Galen Center is the indoor arena on the University of Southern California campus in South Los Angeles, home to USC Trojans basketball and volleyball. Opened in 2006, the 10,258-seat arena sits at the northern edge of the Exposition Park complex — within walking distance of the LA Memorial Coliseum and Expo Park Stadium. The arena has hosted Pac-12 tournaments and major concerts, and is a well-established mid-sized indoor venue.
For LA28, Galen Center hosts Badminton (26 sessions, July 15–July 24) and Rhythmic Gymnastics (5 sessions, July 27–29). Badminton fills nearly two weeks of competition with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions — finals for all five disciplines (Mixed Doubles, Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles, Men's Singles, Women's Singles) are all here. Rhythmic Gymnastics closes out the venue's run in the final days of the Games.
More venue details coming. Gate assignments, parking logistics, and USC campus access details for non-event visitors have not been published by LA28. We'll update this page as information is released closer to the Games.
Getting here: The Metro E Line (Expo) stops at Exposition Park/USC, a short walk from Galen Center. Multiple bus lines on Figueroa St also serve the campus. This is one of the better-transit-served Expo Park venues, sharing access with the Coliseum and Stadium.

Transit & Parking
Metro E Line (Expo)
The Exposition Park/USC stop on the Metro E Line is a short walk from Galen Center. The E Line connects west toward Santa Monica and east to 7th Street/Metro Center in Downtown LA, making it practical from most parts of the city.
Driving & parking
USC campus parking is available in structures along Figueroa St, though demand will be elevated when multiple Expo Park venues are running simultaneously. The 110 Freeway's Exposition Blvd exit provides direct access.
Olympics traffic disclaimer: With the Coliseum, Expo Park Stadium, and Galen Center all in the same complex, Exposition Park will be one of the busiest venue clusters in LA28. Plan for crowded transit on session overlap days and allow extra time between events at different campus venues.
