The venue
About This Venue
The LB Aquatics Center is the purpose-built aquatics facility in Long Beach that will host two of the most visually spectacular sports at LA28: Water Polo and Artistic Swimming. Long Beach has a strong history with Olympic aquatics — the city hosted Olympic swimming events in 1932 — and the 2028 Games continue that connection.
Water Polo runs for nearly two weeks (July 12–23), with both men's and women's tournaments progressing from preliminary matches through medals. Artistic Swimming takes the pool from July 25–29, finishing with the Open Team Acrobatic final. The venue is located in the Long Beach zone, which also includes LB Arena and several other competition sites within the city.
More venue details coming. LA28 has not yet confirmed the exact address or released gate, parking, or fan zone logistics for the LB Aquatics Center. We'll update this page as official details are published.
Getting here: Long Beach is served by the Metro A Line (Blue) — Downtown Long Beach Station connects to central LA in roughly 45–60 minutes. The Long Beach Transit system covers local connections within the city. Rideshare and driving are also practical options given Long Beach's freeway access via the 405 and 710.

Getting here
Transit & Parking
Metro A Line (Blue)
Downtown Long Beach Station is the A Line's southern terminus, connecting Long Beach to central and northern LA in 45–60 minutes. Local Long Beach Transit buses cover routes from the station to venues around the city.
Driving & rideshare
Long Beach is accessible via the 405 and 710 freeways. Rideshare is practical given Long Beach's road network. Exact parking details will be released by LA28 closer to the Games.
Olympics traffic disclaimer: Freeway and local traffic in the Long Beach area will be elevated on event days. The Metro A Line is the most predictable option for fans coming from central LA. Build buffer time into your plans, especially for medal sessions.
