The venue
About Peacock Theater
Peacock Theater — known previously as Nokia Theater and Microsoft Theater — is a 7,100-seat indoor entertainment venue at the L.A. Live complex in Downtown Los Angeles. Opened in 2007, it sits directly adjacent to Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center on Figueroa Street. The theater regularly hosts the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and major touring concerts, making it one of the most active venues in Southern California.
For LA28, Peacock Theater will serve as the home of Olympic Boxing — 17 sessions running from July 15 through July 23 across multiple weight classes — and all 10 Weightlifting finals sessions from July 25–29. The intimate 7,100-seat setup gives Weightlifting in particular a charged, close-quarters atmosphere unlike the larger arena venues.
More venue details coming. LA28 has not yet released gate assignments, security checkpoints, or on-site fan experience details for Peacock Theater. Check back as the Games approach for official logistics information.
Getting here: Peacock Theater is one of the most transit-accessible venues at LA28. The Metro E Line (Expo) stops at Pico Station, a 5-minute walk away. The A, E, and J Lines all converge at 7th Street/Metro Center, one stop north. Multiple bus lines serve the Figueroa corridor directly.

Transit & Parking
Metro — best option
Pico Station on the Metro E Line (Expo) is a 5-minute walk from Peacock Theater. The E Line runs from Santa Monica through Culver City to Downtown. For fans coming from other venues, 7th Street/Metro Center — one stop north — connects the A, E, and J Lines, putting much of the Metro system within one transfer. This is one of the best-served venues in all of LA28.
Driving & parking
L.A. Live has structured parking garages on site. Street parking in Downtown is limited. On event days, rideshare pickup and drop-off will be managed — expect designated zones on nearby streets.
Olympics traffic disclaimer: Downtown LA will have significant road closures and elevated pedestrian traffic during LA28. The Metro is strongly recommended. If driving, factor in additional time and confirm parking logistics via official LA28 guidance closer to the Games.
